Tooting Bec

Tooting Bec, an area of strong multicultural community spirit, is renowned for its tranquil green space. The area is a calmer contrast to the crowds of central London but just as vibrant, making the area popular for young commuters and local residents. Tooting Bec Common covers almost 221 acres and is home to Tooting Bec Lido, the largest open-air fresh water swimming pool in London. In fact, Brad Pitt is seen swimming through the lido in Guy Ritchie's movie Snatch (2000).
