Big impact. Small footprint.

Sustainability at blowUP media

Our premium large-format (D)OOH media shape the image of cities – with enormous visibility and reach. This significant impact comes with an equally significant responsibility. However, sustainability is not only a duty for us, but also a matter close to our hearts.

“Our actions have been characterised by commitment and passion for more than three decades. This energy is part of our DNA and also drives our sustainability initiatives. For us, “Big impact. Small footprint.” is more than just a motto: it is our aspiration to give brands maximum visibility while consistently reducing our environmental footprint.”

We take a holistic approach to sustainability and are guided by the ESG criteria – Environment, Social and Governance.

We produce and work in an environmentally friendly manner, assume social responsibility for our employees and society, and ensure responsible corporate governance through clear rules and transparency.

Our projects and initiatives demonstrate that sustainability works – visibly and tangibly in practice.

We are shaping the future of (D)OOH in an environmentally conscious manner – with our Green Media offering.

We strengthen our team as well as cities, communities and initiatives – through diversity, commitment and social projects.

Trust is built through transparency – with clear rules and responsible leadership.

Anchored in the Group, aligned with international standards

As a subsidiary of the Ströer Group, we are guided by the Group-wide sustainability strategy and actively contribute to the common goal of achieving net zero by 2050. This is based on science-based climate targets in accordance with the net zero standard of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which stipulate an annual CO₂e reduction of at least 4.2%.

We record our progress together with Ströer in the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and supplement this with our own Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) reporting in order to present the impact of our products even more transparently.

Our sustainability activities comply with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This demonstrates that our commitment is not just a promise, but is based on verifiable criteria and measurable targets.
