We rely on resource-efficient energy and innovative technologies to reduce our carbon footprint. An important step is the switch to green electricity, which we are promoting together with partners and property owners. We already use renewable energies in many locations, reducing our emissions by around 50%* compared to grey electricity.
We operate our Digital Screens using energy-efficient technologies, intelligent controls and automatic brightness adjustment. This allows us to save energy without compromising visibility and impact. We are also investing in photovoltaic systems and converting from halogen to LED spotlights in order to further reduce energy consumption.
