blowUP media expands The Collective® in Rotterdam with two unique LED screens for 3D content and multi-product advertising

blowUP media Benelux is launching two spectacular LED screens in Rotterdam – Alexandrium Shopping Center. Both digital landmarks are part of the Digital Out of Home network The Collective® and add value to the shopping center.
ALEX, the large-format three-sided 21 m2 digital screen that comes down from the ceiling, is ideally suited for multi-product or multi-feature advertising. Brands can display a different product, model, color or other variation on each side. Advertising content can also be deployed seamlessly and as a continuous whole due to the special design of the LED screen. Through the use of a consistent design, branding on all screens and 360˚ moving graphics all around, brand campaigns come out best on this screen.
Also, blowUP media Benelux is the first in the Netherlands to introduce a vertical garden around a digital screen with The Green® Alexandrium. This Premium Plus LED object of almost 20 m2 is surrounded by 40 m2 of vertical garden with real plants. More than 1,000 plants green the shopping center and create a positive effect on visitors. By applying 3D content to this GreenTech corner screen, brands can offer an even more spectacular visual brand experience to consumers. Another head-on screen will soon be added as a third digital landmark in the shopping center.

Both ALEX and The Green® Alexandrium are made of state-of-the-art hardware and have unprecedented high resolution, taking the viewing experience and content to the next level. Both LED screens consist of 80% recycled aluminum sourced from the Netherlands and are powered by 100% Dutch green electricity. Sustainability has been one of blowUP media Benelux’s strategic pillars for years. With these new initiatives in Rotterdam’s largest shopping center, this is further implemented to maximize positive impact.

Impactful content mix
In honor of this launch, 3D content has been developed by non-profit organization and sustainability partner Justdiggit. In addition, OMEGA, H&M, Coty, Tony Chocolonely, HBO and Diergaarde Blijdorp are the first brands to advertise on these innovative screens. Digital art by Rotterdam artist Sibumski will also be displayed exclusively.
